Welcome to An Inspired Thought

I created this site to share some of my writing, poetry, thoughts... As a Spiritual Messenger my main themes are about life's journey, purpose and how to bring the energy of universal, unconditional love into our own lives and the lives of others. Inspired thoughts are ideas or answers that seem to come 'out of the blue'. A single thought or idea may lead to a stream of related thoughts or ideas. I am amazed at what 'comes through' when I take time to sit in stillness and really listen inwardly.

Some people believe inspiration comes from our own self or our higher self. Others say it's from God, angels, guides, ancestors, loved ones, ET's or other forms of intelligence. I believe it can come from any of these sources, and from nature too. I believe in a loving and benevolent Higher Power and know that consciousness lives on beyond physical life, and that while the body dies our essence lives on. This consciousness can communicate with those who have a natural gift or who have developed the ability to communicate with 'the great Beyond'.

My book, Things That I Believe In, is a message from John, singer, songwriter and passionate conservationist and environmental warrior, who passed to the spirit world in 1997. His spirit continues living, working and communicating from 'the other side'. You can read excerpts from the book on this site. Rebecca wrote about Things That I Believe In, 'I wanted to let you know that I started reading your book before going to bed - and couldn't put it down! I would have read the entire thing in one round if my eyelids wouldn't have kept drooping ... I will be reading the rest of the book tonight! Jan, this book is wonderful. I have posted some excerpts from the book I'm currently working on, also with John, called All You Need Is Love. This book is my entry into the Next Top Spiritual Author Competition.

 

Whatever or whoever the source of our inspirations, these thoughts and ideas can bring insight, a fresh perspective, upliftment, hope and healing for ourselves and others. If my 'inspired thoughts' does that for anyone who finds my site, creating it will have been more than worthwhile. May my web pages also inspire you to pick up your pen and connect with your own inner source of inspiration.
