Welcome to An Inspired Thought, a site I created to share some of my writing. My main themes are of a spiritual nature, about life's journey and purpose and how to bring the energy of universal, unconditional love into our lives.

Inspired thoughts are ideas or answers that seem to come 'out of the blue'.  A single thought or idea may lead to a stream of related thoughts or ideas. I am amazed at what 'comes through' if I take time to sit in stillness and listen inwardly. Some people believe inspiration comes from our own self or higher self. Others say it's from God, angels, guides, ancestors, loved ones, ET's or other forms of intelligence. I believe it can come from any of these sources.

I believe in a loving Higher Power. and that individual consciousness lives on beyond this physical life. While our bodies die, our essence lives on and can communicate with people known as spiritual channels or mediums, who have developed the ability to communicate with the subtle spiritual realms. My book, Things That I Believe In, is a message from John, a singer and songwriter who died from this world in 1997, but whose spirit continues to live and work and communicate from 'the other side'. You can read excerpts from it on this site, and it is available for purchase in my online store.

Whatever or whoever the source of our inspirations, these thoughts and ideas can bring new insight and fresh points of view, upliftment, hope and healing both for ourselves and others. If my 'inspired thoughts' do any of these things for those who find my site, creating it will have been worthwhile. I hope it inspires you to pick up your pen and connect with your own source of inspiration.
